WHAT I LEARNED FROM POLITICS THAT I APPLY IN KAMILA NOW

I`ve been working in political offices for 5 years. Though this is a relatively short stint, I learned a lot. Now, I apply things I learned from politics as I manage my small business. Here are some of them:

Clear and consistent message.

This is what I learned from my previous job that I apply in Kamila now. In the previous blog, I wrote about how important it is to know your vision and mission. Once you establish what it is that you want to do and where you go, you need to stick to it. You need to continuously communicate it to your clients starting from what you do, what you post and what you tell in your other channels. This is the only way that you can get your message across.

Well, that’s it for now. I think I want to write more about messaging but I am still learning it as well (hehe). Will update this post more once I learn more about messaging.

This blog ends my short series on things I want to share to other small business owners; especially those who are still starting.

On the next blogs, I will be writing about what is Kamila and what we stand for.
